Rtn. Major Donor Dr. P. V. Ravi, born in 1945 in Pollachi of Tamilnadu, had his early Education and up to Collegiate Education in NGM College, Pollachi, Tamilnadu. Got his Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Physics from Madras University subsequently an M.A in English and B.Ed from Mysore University. He earned his Doctorate in English and Linguistics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Served in State Bank and LIC of India.

In 1970, the flagship of Park Group of Institutions, The Prema Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established by him. The following institutions were established subsequently up to 2009 and 2010.

Served Bharathiar University as a Syndicate Member and also a Member of Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Government of Tamilnadu. He is also a Member of Indian Society for Technical Education, All India Management Association, New Delhi. Indian Institute of Export Management, Kolkata. Member of Ancient Astronaut Society, USA.

He is Pioneer in the field of Technical & Provisional Education in Tamilnadu. The Policy of self financing education in higher education is the brain child of Dr.P.V.Ravi, Because of this policy, introduced in 1980s, the beneficiaries are in lakhs and lakhs and Tamilnadu can boast of giving International Employment Potential to present day generation.

Joined Rotary in the year 1984 as a Charter President of Tirupur North and Served as President for 3 terms. He also served as Secretary, GGR, District Chairman and the most unforgettable District Conference of “Vasantham” in 2008. Adopted three villages one primary health centre and is also offering free professional education to the budding engineers to the tune of Rs 50 lakhs per annum through various Rotary clubs of our Rotary District 3202.

The recent milestone of Grand Felicitation to RIPN to our district and the function called as “The Primrose” was also a contribution by our Rtn. P.V. Ravi. He is a Major Donor.

Married to Prema and blessed with two children. Anusha, Married to Mr. Mahesh, CEO, Park Group of Educational Institutions and T.R. Karthick ME, unmarried, Secretary, Park Group of Educational Institutions.

Travelling widely in U.S, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
