GROUP . A

1.Family health care project
Conduct health care check up camps for Rotarians and family members.
Observe December as family of Rotarians

2.Honoring Past presidents
Arrange the function on charter day
Involve family members

GROUP. B

1.CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION PROJECTS
Child labour – report to authorities – disengage and send to school.
Street and slum children – redeem and rehabilitate – Vocational training.
House hold girl children – disengage & send to school.
Bonded child labour – release & send to school
Support rescued children – provide day care centers.

2. ADOLESCENT CARE PROJECTS.
Arrange awareness classes for high school & plus two classes.
Aids awareness.
Drug abuse prevention.
Anti Smoking & Alcohol campaign.
Career guidance.

3. DISABLED CARE PROJECT:
Physical disability
Eye care projects : Observe fort night from Aug 25th to sept 8th to promote eye donation.
Care for hearing impaired children.
Care for mentally retarded children.

4.GERIATRIC CARE PROJECT:

Aim is to prevent avoidable death and to improve quality of life
Provide comprehensive health care – Holistic approach.
Geriatric clinic – to train primary care givers – Home nurses.
Day care centers.
Old age homes.
Honoring the elderly.

Keep them active till they retire from life

5.PAIN & PALLIATIVE CARE PROJECT:

“ Death is not the ultimate tragedy of life. The ultimate tragedy is dispersonalisation”
Compassion in patient care.
Support family.
Pain & Palliative clinic.
Provide medicines & physical aids.

GROUP C

1.School care project:
Adopt a school - improve infra structure
Provide toilets
Provide drinking water
Provide Computers
Provide lab facilities.
2.Student care project:
Sponsor poor students
Provide uniforms & books
Health care check ups
Carrier guidance
Coaching classes

3. Computer literacy:
Donate computers to schools
Arrange computer teachers
Provide educational tools for learning

4. Value based education:

5. Literacy promotion programmes:
Running literacy classes
Build a library in the schools
Donate books and periodicals
Donate teaching aids
Promote students to continue education
Vocational training

GROUP.D

1.Micro credit for women:
Form self help groups (SHG) of 10-15 women (poor, having same problems of the locality)

2. Village care project:
Adopt a village
Form RVC
Survey about the health Problems
Arrange medical camps
Water management
Promote literacy
Any other needs for the community

3. Health care projects:
Dental check up in schools
Eye screening camps in schools
Gift of sight projects
Cardiac care camps
Screening camps for hearing impaired children
Polio corrective surgery
Cleft lip & Palate surgery
Screening camps for diabetes & Hypertension

4. Low Cost Shelters :
Construct and donate at least one house.

5.Veterinary care projects:
Anti rabic vaccination of pet dogs
Management of street dogs
Vaccination for big animals
Seminar on bird flu

1. Promotion of unconventional energy:
Solar energy
Wind energy
Ocean (tidal) energy
Biogas energy
Geo thermal energy

2.Environment protection project:
Biomedical waste management
Garbage management
Clean city programme
Deal with green house gases
Noise pollution & smoke pollution prevention
3. Promotion of ethics in life:
Rotarians as role models
Promote 4 way test & declaration of Rotarians in business & profession
Create awareness against corruption
Promote ethical values
Recognize Rotarian / other personalities in the community
4. Promotion of world peace & understanding:
Promote fellowship & friendship
Serve the community
Promote ethics in life & human rights
